"Autoroute A6 - A6 motorway".

Vous avez été quelques uns à me demander une mise à jour sur l'autoroute A6. Aussi, voici une nouvelle série de photos, toutes de la fin des années '80.

Bien sur, ces images sont loin d'être techniquement parfaites, mais le but est de montrer les camions qui passaient à l'époque. Et tous les transporteurs mythiques y étaient! Avec un peu (beaucoup!) d'indulgence, vous allez redécouvrir ces images revenues des profondeurs du temps.

I have found a new series of pictures from the A6 motorway in the late 80's. Of course, these shots are far from being perfect, but they come from far away, and at least they give an idea of the trucks that were passing at the time. And I must say that all the legendary companies were there!...

Nog harder Lopik 2008.

Voici les premières images de l'édition 2008 du show de Lopik, avec une mention cette année pour les Danois (venus en nombre), et les Hollandais. Les Danois nous ont proposé un excellent cocktail de "tuning" récent (Wagner Cargo), et de style plus classique (Karsten Jensen, Thimmy Jorgensen, Soren Skov...) qui reste l'exercice dans lequel je les préfère.

Quant aux Hollandais, le niveau de qualité est également trés élevé (y compris pour les intérieurs). Le meilleur exemple cette année est peut être le R620 du fleuriste Van den Eijkel qui - en plus de l'aspect extérieur - présente un intérieur vraiment original.

Parmi les camions que je n'avais pas encore pu photographier, ma préférence va au 143 streamline de Karsten JENSEN, et au R500 de Mikael HANSEN. Ces deux camions de rêve m'ont mis KO!

Here are the first shots from this year's high quality Lopik show. This is definetely the place where you can dream when looking at the trucks. But a choice has to be made, so you will see my top 3 just underneath (among the trucks that I haven't photographed previously).

This coming week, we'll be celebrating Padborg-Express' 4th anniversary (already! - the site was actually launched on the 10th of July 2004).

So let's start the celebration with almost 50 new pics, still from this year's Lastbil Show (with special greetings to Brian,Otto, Enrico, Flemming, Jesper, Claus Petersen, the Allan Karlsen team, Niels and Lasse). Don't kill me if I forgot someone!...
